Impact Snapshot
Numbers can never tell the full story, but they show what your support is already making possible for families across Punjab.
What We Do
From ending dowry-driven exploitation to providing legal and medical support, each programme is designed to protect dignity and create long-term change.
Organising large-scale, fully-supported marriage ceremonies for underprivileged couples so that no family falls into debt for a daughter's wedding.
Standing beside women facing violence, harassment or abandonment through counselling, referrals and emergency support.
Free legal guidance for cases related to domestic violence, dowry, labour exploitation and other human-rights violations.
Organising medical check-up camps, blood donation drives and medicine distribution for families who cannot afford private healthcare.
Supporting children and youth from low-income families with education assistance, guidance and leadership opportunities.
Providing ration kits, cooked food and emergency assistance to families hit by crises, illness or sudden income loss.
Who We Are
The Human Rights Awareness Association (Regd.) is a grassroots organisation based in Punjab, working so that no woman or family is pushed into lifelong debt or abuse in the name of tradition.
Through large-scale Free Mass Marriages, legal aid, health camps and awareness drives, we partner with local volunteers, donors and institutions to protect basic rights and create safer, more informed communities.
On the Ground
Mass marriages, health camps, awareness rallies and more – every photograph represents collective effort from volunteers, partners and well-wishers.
